Poets' Corner Hostel

It likes home. The owners are very nice and kind. I feel at home. We can cook and enjoy talk to others. It is very clean. The owners are so kind to me. I really recommend to stay here if you want to feel home. It is very clean and you do not need to do your own bed.

Stayed there for two nights in September and had a great time. The place is located in a sort of apartment and really feels like staying in somebody's home. The staff is really helpful, thought they are not present in the hostel all the time, but that is comprehensive since it's a pretty small place. Olomouc is a nice place off the beaten tourist track. This hostel is the perfect spot to relax and take a few "days off".

Decent cooking facilities.

Great hostel for meeting fellow travellers. The staff were also really friendly and helpful, and gave some great advice on the best places to check out and the best pubs and restaurants to visit. Felt like I was staying at home rather than in a hostel! Great homely feel to the place!

Excellent. Ian, the owner was very helpful from the moment we arrived, taking the time to sit and talk us through thre city. He then made our beds, gave us a padlock and a towel free of charge and without a deposit required. The hostel itself was excellent, more like being at home than staying in a hostel. We met some cool people there and went out in Olomouc as a group, Ian even joined us for a few drinks once he had finished his jobs. Great place, 10/10.

The owner is very kind and helpful. They even organize a drink at weekend. We had so muc fun there. Would recpommend it to anyone.

Comfy armchairs, a homely feel. There was a book exchange and clothes exchange which was cool. There was heaps of information and ideas for day trips, and which chocolate tart was the best in town. Even a list of the weeks events which was cool.

This was my second stay here it's such a nice hostel with helpful staff.

Location, staff, nice home-like atmosphere.

I liked absolutely everything: great location, friendly staff, clean showers and other facilities, good tea and coffee yours for free, great views from the balcony area, a relaxing communal area and loads of tips about what to see and do in Olomouc and surrounds. This was my second stay at Poets' Corner and I would definitely return. I would also recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay where they can really feel at home.
