Hostel
Our hostel is in the heart of Kilkenny, 2 minutes walking distance from St. Canice's Cathedral with its round tower (one of the only two in the whole country that can be climbed), 3 minutes from pubs with live music, 10 mins to walk to the famous Kilkenny Castle.
Price includes : Free breakfast, tea and coffee, parking, security lockers, internet access, Wi-Fi and even a free map of the city!

We have lots of free facilities, such as free breakfast, parking, security lockers, internet access, Wi-Fi and even a free map of the city! Breakfast includes porridge, corn flakes, toast and tea or coffee; you can also have as much free tea and coffee as you want, all day long. We even wash your dishes for you!
There's a cool barbecue area in our garden. We're also located near pubs with traditional Irish music and some fine restaurants that are quite inexpensive.

Nore Linear park only 5 mins away to take a walk or jog, all major tourist attractions within a 10 min walk away.
Late-night take-away (Joe's Take-away) 1 min from the hostel.
Smithwicks Brewery is 0.3 km away. St Canices Cathedral is 0.2 km away, and the shops of the medieval city are all nearby.
Black Abbey, Rothe House, Kilkenny Railway Station, Nowlan Park all 2 mins walk.

Limited Free on street parking is available at the hostel or alternatively there is parking available at a costs of €2 per day.
Parking charges are payable from 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and outside these times parking is free.
We were voted the best hostel in Kilkenny in 2014 & 2015, and one of the top hostels in Ireland. We were approved by the Irish Tourism Board in 2016 and are recommended by Lonely Planet, Routards and Let's Go
