The staff are very helpful with showing you places of interest and also really friendly remembering our first names. The location is perfect for those who want to see natural beauty and everything is very close by. Hiking and swimming is on your doorstep and the views from the hostel are amazing. They also have an open fire to relax after a busy day.
Le site est magnifique, le propriétaire est très serviable et accueillant.
It has the most beautiful views of the rugged Donegal coast. Other than that, the hosts were great and the facilities were good. We had hot water and a heater was provided in case it got cold. All around great value for money and a wonderful place to stay.

Nothing.
People were pleasant.
Everything. Nice and comfortable. Amazing location, just a short drive from the coast and amazing cliffs.Paul was extremely helpful and just lovely. We had s great stay and will be back for sure.
Friendly and welcoming staff with a good local knowledge.
Everything! Great cooking facilities, wifi, nice staff, nice rooms, good price, cool chill out areas, amazing beach up the road.
Breathtaking location. Charming village. The owners really did help us with everything from laundry to directions - they even offer a lift to and from the pub! Slieve League is close by and the local Woollen Mills are a great place to find sweaters. This is one of my favorite hostels in Ireland. I will be back for sure.
Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Offered a lift if you needed to go to the pub.
Located in one of the most beautiful natural locations in Ireland. Great culture and craic in the nearby village. 3 pubs that have live music most nights and a great crowd of locals and visitors. Hostel is about 5km from the town, but the owner will drop and pick you up to the town whenever you like (even pick you up after the mandatory lock ins in the pub haha!). Rooms are the best value I've had in Ireland. Myself and 3 mates (Irish guys late twenties) shared a room and had one of the most enjoyable nights of our 4 day road trip in Ulster. Cannot recommend it enough! And the owner is a top bloke from Derry!
It was cheap and in a perfect spot for exploring the highest cliffs of Europe, but that's about it.
L'accueil chaleureux. Le petit dej. Le foyer à la salle à manger. Le confort de la chambre.
Staff very friendly, room was very spacious and comfortable. Facilities were great, great location brilliant atmosphere. Can't fault it
location, staff
Really nice place with lovely kitchen and the lady running it was extremely helpful and friendly - she even offered to drop us to and from the pub without us asking! Would definitely stay there again.
Paul and his family were amazingly generous and warm. The location is brilliant and was like a breath of fresh air. The breakfast was just what the doctor ordered and everything just fit right into place. It's the best money I've spent since I arrived in the UK/Ireland and the next time I'm here I'm definitely going back.
1) it's in the most beautiful part of the country, 2)Paul offers to drive you everywhere (into town, to the cliffs) 3)Awesome breakfast 4)Balling price
location, friendliness
- Friendly family running the facility - Kitchen/Dining area large and nice
First of all the owners, Paul and Sharon, we're so unbelievably nice!...From the second you walked in you felt like family and we're really comfortable. The Hostel itself is about 4km away from the Bus stop that we got off of, but upon arrival, Paul expectedly came and picked us up, after a local Bar owner called him to tell him that we arrived. For the rest of the stay Paul, would run us, and any of his guests, into town whenever they needed...it was so unexpected! The Hostel itself is gorgeous with little warm and tidy rooms and an amazing Irish breakfast in the morning. Also if you cook, they had this gorgeous, big kitchen with all wood cubberts that you could use at you disposal...it really did feel like home. I would highly recommend this Hostel. OH! and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking with cliffs and ocean, and a sweet little irish village... you should seriuosly go..we didnt want o leave.
A lovely place, just in front of the sea. The host is a very kind and helpful person, I would highly recommend it
Had wonderful stuff and is a good deal for accommodation however the chance to meet people at such a location are minimal unfortunately.
Hostel is in very beautiful location. Staff is very friendly. Tasty breakfast was served. Over all we had a pleasant stay. Thanks.
Provided best value for money of any place I stayed on this trip. Great facilities and friendly staff. They really went out of their way to help. Also nearby Slieve League is truly spectacular and a real highlight for me.
The area where this hostel is located is just fantastic. The weather has been great even though it's January. Slieve League is certainly very spectacular and definitely worth a visit. Glencolmcille is my favorite place on this Irish Trip so far. The Hostel is great too. To be honest my room is like a hotel than a hostel, and owners are really friendly and helpful. Will be back here for sure.
