HostelAll rooms are very comfortable and modern, as they were originally designed for a four-star hotel. Every room has its own bathroom with shower or bathtub, WC, sink, heating, blow dryer and shower gel. The rooms have sound absorbing doors, carpet, different lights, curtains, comfortable beds, a closet, mirror, desk and a corner with chairs to sit.

You live in the middle of the historic old town of Güstrow, in close proximity to the castle, the cathedral, Barlach monument, as well as many shops and the market that takes place every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Güstrow is centrally located in the state of Mecklenburg. The surrounding cities Waren, Plau, Schwerin, Wismar, or Rostock and Warnemünde can be reached within about an hour by car or train.

Good to know
Our property was built in 1911, serving as an important hotel. After the fall of the wall it was a four-star hotel until we started using it as a hostel.

Our reception is opened daily (except Sundays) from 8 am to 4:30 pm. If you arrive at another time you will receive an access code for a key machine in Hotel Altstadt (Baustraße 8-10, aprox. 350 m) .

The staff were kind and attentive, the room was clean, the bed was comfy. It was quiet at night, which is great!
The room was clean and so is the bed, the entire place actually is. We were welcomed, and assisted when needed, by the friendly/helpful staff.
