We are located in the neighborhood with the highest concentration of nightlife in Rio, 2 minutes walk from the Arcos de Lapa and the best nightclubs and shows. The Hostel is located between the underground stations Gloria and Cinelandia.
It is 15 minutes to the beaches of Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon.
Closer still to the beach of Botafogo where you have the best tourist postcard of Pão de Açucar and the Christ the Redeemer.

Hostel Upalele was inaugurated in June 2012, trying to offer alternatives to those travelers wishing to stay in a bohemian neighborhood, privileging to stay close to their night activities and just minutes from the main daytime activities

Sajnos, kellemetlen dolgok történtek. Több mint egy óráig bezárták a szállóból, az ajtókat kinyitották, és az egyedül utazó nők számára veszélyes volt. Azon kívül, hogy a vendég kívül hagyja a vendéget, nem adtak nekem visszatérítést azon a napon, amikor nem maradtam, mert végül megváltozott a szállodák, mert féltem.
I like this hostel. The atmosphere is okay and is walking distance of the Gloria Metro station.
Good hostel in a good location. In the heart of Lapa.
