Very easy to find and exceptionally clean room

The place was really well located for my trip and ease of getting around. The directions were very helpful too. the fact that it was almost literally outside the tube was a bonus and within walking distance of Shepherd Bush also gave the place brownie points. The place was spotlessly clean. I like the fact that they provide you with a towel and linen, saves you bringing your own and is excellent for a quick overnight stay. I travelled alone on this trip and stayed in the 4 bed dorm. As a female felt quite safe overall. I would definetly stay here again.

It was clean and linen and towels changed every other day. Location is excellent.

laundry facilities, they change beddings every other day, clean toilets and showers.

Bad reception but good bed!!

The place was very clean, there were kitchens, showers and toilets on every floor so there was never any queue or problems to get into the shower. There was also good privacy because due to the many kitchens you could always find a place to have a tea in peace. It was quite, I had nice room mates and everyone slept well.

Great central location in Hammersmith but at the same time very quiet. Shared kitchen was very clean as was our room, great having crockery and cutlery and fridge in our private room.

Location is good in a quiet neighbourhood and close to Hammersmith tube and bus stations. Although, they are building a property next door so you do get building noise but that's not the hostel's fault. All rooms have a fridge.

Refurbished and clean.

My friend and I had a twin deluxe private. It wasn't a big room but it had everything we needed - comfortable beds and a shower. It was clean and maintained although you could see the track of time but that is the last thing that bothers me in a hostel. I need clean and comfortable, and value for money and this room was it. We had our sheets changed during our stay - which is a first for me in a hostel and I've stayed in quite a few. We didn't stay much in the room, we would leave before 8 in the morning and be back after 10 at night, and we never met anyone else staying there, so I can't really rate the atmosphere. The guys at the desk were nice and friendly. I chose this hostel because of its very convinient location for getting both to and from Heathrow and Central London. I was a little apprehensive before checking in because of some horrible reviews but our experience was great. No excessive noise. We only heard other guests slamming doors a couple of times one night - the rest of the time they were either very quiet, or there were no one staying around us. Anyways, the loudest noise for me was my friend's snoring. As a whole, great value for what we paid, at a very convinient location. Really good hostel. Would gladly stay there again.

Abercorn house hostel is fantastic. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The rooms are very comfortable. And the kitchens are well equipped. The Tube and bus station is less than a minutes walk away.
